Nail Polish Haul & Water Marble!!

Reactions:
Up until two days ago I owned 1 nail polish. All of a sudden I accumulated 6 more! I hate painting my nails because I hate chips and I hate taking it off but I really liked the colors I picked up! Three of them are from this new store called Five Below, where everything is 5 dollars or less, so nail polishes were three for $5. Then I got three from Wal-Mart, one I saw reviewed on a blog (I can't remember which blog :( ) and the other brand(Pure Ice) I saw in a water marbling tutorial! So here is the lot:
Top: Funky Fingers- Bizerk Turq
Funky Fingers-Dark Knight
Funky Fingers-South Hampton Seafoam
* The Funky Fingers have a pretty bad application but I like the colors and I didn't expect much because they are really cheap but, they will probably be pretty good to water marble with because they are thin and watery*
Bottom: Pure Ice: Kiss Me Here
Sally Hansen: Advance Hard as Nails with Nylon + Retinol
Revlon: Gray Suede (nude color)
I wanted to find the Pure Ice because I was really sad that Kait and I failed so bad! We made a serious mess of ourselves! The tutorial I saw that used the Pure Ice looked really easy so I was really excited when I saw it at Wal-Mart. This design was inspired by My Simple Little Pleasures, I was having a hard time covering the whole nail with polish, so I like just the swirls on top!
This what I did: (please watch My Simple Little Pleasures for a detailed explanation and technique)
Painted my nails with Funky Fingers- South Hampton Sea Foam

I cut a styrofoam cup to about 5 inches and filled it with cold spring water.
Covered the skin around my nail with tape
Dropped 3 to four drops of Pure Ice- Kiss Me Here in the water followed by the Sally Hansen
I drew a random design in the water with a tooth pick (this was fun because it didn't dry as fast as it had in previous trials)
Next, I dipped my finger in the water at the place where I made the design
I let my finger sit in the water for at least 15 seconds, some times I let the polish dry, but it was not necessary! It depends on the polish you use!
I then pulled my finger out and took the tape off, this worked so well I was so impressed and I can't wait to do it again!!!
My First One!!!

My left hand: The really light fingers
were done with 1 drop of gray*

Reactions:
You can decide weather I bought this early or am buying it late! But, regardless this Betsy Johnson necklace is totally cute!
Since it is August, I don't think anyone has taken a peek at this in a while, so it was super marked down... Pretty much couldn't pass it up!
The mittens have purple crystals and pink and purple enamel.
The bow is gold and very detailed, pretty!

Adorable Outfit!

Reactions:
Dinner and Ice Cream for my birthday!! This is almost a dress, I'm short so I got away with it but If I was any taller, I would need jeans! I did wear little crop leggings that I got a TJ's that just cover the thigh because the dress is a little see through, they are great!  I love the silver color it's so pretty! I was a little upset though because it had a stain on it that I didn't know about until I was wearing it, of course, so I had to return it for the black one. Still very cute though! This is also another item selling at Nordstrom's! I found it online, it's out of stock  but was selling for $37.90! The sandals are selling for $80.10 at Zappos! I look things up by typing in the brand, the type of clothing (dress, shirt etc..) and then clicking the shopping link in Google, I almost always find the item!
Here is my Birthday look:
Dress:  TJ Maxx $13
Shoes: TJ Maxx $20
Sunglasses: TJ Maxx $10
Bracelet: TJ Maxx $3
Cropped Leggings: TJ Maxx $4.99
The whole outfit costs just over $50!

I can't wait to try another look with this dress for the fall with leggings and boots!
What else could I pair it with??? xoxo Camille

Ok, soo I did more shopping... My Birthday, My Rules!

Reactions:
This is one of the cards I received for my birthday and inside it says "Your birthday, your rules!" I love it!!
So, yes, I did do some more shopping but it's OK I got some great deals!

Friday

My first stop was Forever 21 in Maine (which has a clothing tax??!! Wahh) but that store was huge! It was an XXI store which means it's deluxe! It was soooo big, like enormous, you need an entire day to sort through that stuff! And there was literally racks and racks of clothes in the fitting room to be put back, those poor girls! I spent $15.97 (w/o tax) on 3 shirts:
This is a cheetah print, crop cardigan; I love the ruched sleeves!
Original $19.80 Clearance price $4.99 Savings $14.81!

This is a cap sleeve (shoulder pads!) tank with silver circle studs on the shoulder.
Original $19.80 Clearance price $4.99 Savings $14.81!

The last shirt is the one I'm wearing in my haul videos:
 Birthday Haul #1 & Birthday Haul #2
Cream colored loose tee, with bow decoration!
Original $13.80 Clearance price $5.99 Savings $7.81!

Total Spent: $15.97 Total Saved: $37.43!!

TODAY
More Forever 21! At the mall I go to there is an insiders "club" so I signed up and a few days ago they sent me an email to pick up a Happy Birthday $10 gift card!! So I went to Forever 21 for some jewels!

I love this Swarovski- like sparkling ring! It had a gold band and is a globe shape!
This came at a much cheaper price then Swarovski though, at only $5.80!

The ring below is an adjustable (thank God!) bow connector, so it sits on two fingers. I love bows so I had to have it at only $4.80!

$5.80+$4.80+$.66 (tax)= $11.26 - $10 gift card= a total of $1.26!

Next, I headed on over to Khol's, look what I got!

This bracelet is super cute!!
On my receipt it's called "Pearls" by Vera Wang, It's a little bit hard to get on because the elastic that runs though the square studs is very tight, but I love it on!
Original $24.00 Clearance $4.80 Saving $19.20!
This top is by Candie's, it's a limited quantity item so grab it up! I think it is perfect for fall!
I like that it is slightly cropped too, and the studs are a perfect gold-y bronze color!
Original $32.00 Clearance price $6.40 Savings $25.60!
(I personally would never pay $32.00 for this shirt, it is good quality, but that is outrageous!)

I was gifted a $10 off Khol's coupon (again... I'm so Lucky!) So that is what I cashed it in on:
$4.80 + $6.40 + $0.3 (tax) = $11.23 - $10 coupon= a total of $1.23!
And a total savings of $54.80!

I know this is a lot of math (sorry)!! I just think it's crazy that I can spend $2.49 and save $64.80! You can do it too! just keep your eyes on the prize! xoxox Camille

For me to Remember, For you to Love!

Reactions:
I wore this last night out in Providence with my boyfriend, Chris and his friends! I love this dress because it the casual denim is dressed up with the fancy styling. I thought my feet were going to be killing by the end of the night because I had never worn these booties and they are a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn't so bad and I absolutely love them so I would've suffered. :)
Dress: TJ Maxx $39
Shoes: Forever 21 $12.99
Cuff: Forever 21 $4.50
Ring: Khol's $2.00

New Find! Designer Warehouse!

Reactions:
My friend Brooke told me that I would love this new store so I checked it out today!
The store is called Designer Warehouse this is their information:
Designer Warehouse
8 Harding Street
Lakeville, MA
Route 44
508-923-1999
They sell designer brands, most for $9.99! I didn't see anything for more than $14.99. Brands I saw there were: LOFT, J.Jill, Banana Republic, Express, White House Black Market, Apt 9, Miss Bisou, Liz Claiborne, GAP, Cubism, Heritage, American Eagle, Ann Taylor, and more...
I liked the stuff they had there, very clean, neat, and organized. They even have a blowout sale section up stairs where everything is $5 or less! I can't buy anymore summer pieces so I bought an accessory instead. This gorgeous headband only cost me $2.11 with tax! I Love it!! I think I might wear it tonight!!

I can't wait to go back and check out stuff for fall!

Leave me some love xoxox

Try out this hair do!

Reactions:

I invented this easy 'do on accident one day. It's quick, easy and I get some many compliments on it! Here's the step by step! If you try it out please post a picture or link in a comment!

What you need:

  • Hair elastic (the little rubber ones probably work best)
  • barrette
  • gymnastics clip
  • pretty hair clip
How to: (click on the picture to make it bigger!)

  1. Start with your hair down. As shown in the picture it can be curly or straight. I like to do this when my hair is not cooperating or I just need to put it up.
  2. Brush it out!
  3. Flip your head over so your hair is straight down and start a braid at the top middle of your head, and braid it straight down.
  4. Once you have the braid tied off, pull it to the side of your head.
  5. Secure it with the barrette on top of the braid before the elastic. (you can weave it in the braid if you want, to hide it)
  6. Secure the tail of the braid with the gymnastics clip. ( you can hide this too, I have it like this to show the clip)
  7. And your done! You can pretty much place this anywhere, I also have it started on the side behind my ear and pulled it over the top of my head.
Some ways I've worn it:

At the Pat's Scrimmage
On my way to the Camie Carnival
The flower clip hides the end of the braid
Getting ready for work

Leave a comment and tell me what you think!! xoxo
