Why I like this: the color, it's a medium wash; the length, can be worn with leggings; and the price!

Yup. All this denim for $1.80.So cute I want to wear it with these blue shoesand this colored flower ring; not sure which bottoms, but I will wear them!
One thing I KNOW, 'end of season clearance' isn't all filled with seasonal items. There are always classic pieces, super trendy things (for super cheap!), nice jeans, occasion dresses and the random next season pieces.This shirt will be great for spring with some loose curls and cute jewels!Price $34.00 on clearance for $6.80 - $5 Kohl's cash (for signing up for emails) = $1.80!

My attempt at layering...

Layering is a skill, I don't know how some girls can make it look so, "yeah I just threw this on." This took effort, yay or nay?

I think the different textures is the key to this look,.
The turtleneck is smooth, the cardigan is a thicker knit  and the vest is woven.

A note about gift cards

     I live in Massachusetts, according to states laws, any gift card with a balance of less than $5 dollars may be redeemed for cash. I have asked for this in multiple mall stores and have been turned away with responses like "we don't do that here," and "our computers can't do that." I work in retail, I know how to do it, it's actually simple to do, I feel like the right response should have been "I don't know how to do it." Or maybe the associates were never notified of this law change, I'm not sure.
     I wanted to give all of my smart shopper friends some links about this and the law in your state, also some of your rights as a shopper.  Tower Group reported that in 2006, that the estimated value of unused gift cards in the US was 8 billion dollars (read the linked article for more shockers)! Don't let your money go wasted, any unused gift card balance is purely profit!! Things to know; the law was signed in on May 22, 2009 and went into effect on August 22, 2010. Also, the federal and state laws differ and in some cases the state law overrides the federal law. So please, throughly check your states laws.

Glitter Nails!

This is what it looks like outside my window, note the mailbox on the left and the fact that the tree is practically drowning! This isn't even from today, it's pretty much pouring snow right now, so I skipped school!! Heeheee

Also, I gave myself a 'manicure'...

Method:
Paint nail with gray polish after a clear base coat
Paint half the nail with the glitter (Art Deco has a thin brush)
Finish with a top coat
Voila!
