The Graphic Tee

Reactions:
Graphic Tees have always been my arch nemesis. I just don't like t-shirts in general, the way the fit, they way they bunch under your arms, the clingy ones, the see through ones; I could go on. And graphic tees. That is another kind of horrible. On top of all that awkwardness, now people have to 'read me,' and some graphic tees are just rude. Then I laid my eyes on it.  A perfect little picture, a great fabric, and a forgiving cut.  I purchased it one size bigger so that it would fit comfortably under the arms.  This is by far the cutest graphic tee I have ever seen, and I love that it doesn't have a single word, that would've spoiled it!

Top: Old Navy $4.24
Jeans: Candie's
Boots: TJ Maxx $39.99

This is a "3D" shirt so all the little studs on the purse are real metal.
I anxiously awaited its removal from the dryer to inspect each and every stud to make sure they were still intact, and they were! I also love that the purse chain is metallic. Perfect little tee.

Do you like graphic tees?

Something New #27

Reactions:
Right around Thanksgiving I bought this dress at TJ's because it was exactly what I was looking for.  The small and medium fit fine but they were super short, so I bought it in a large.  And it is still way to short, I was going to a nicer restaurant, I didn't want to wear leggings so I popped on this pencil skirt over it and I love how it turned out.  I originally wanted to wear a big gold statement necklace with this outfit, but I don't have one. I substituted for the gold skinny belt and alligator bracelet.
The over the knee socks are such a genius idea, I saw a girl in providence wearing them with a bright blue skirt and a turtleneck, I just loved the way it looked.  I had to literally hunt for plain black over the knee socks, I found these at Macy's. After that I saw a video that Carly Cristman made with them styled this way.   I am just obsessed.

I tried the fuller a-line skirt first because I liked the gold buttons, when I took the picture I realized it looked too school-girl.  I like the sleeker look the pencil skirt gives it.

Dress: TJ Maxx $12.99
Skirt: XOXO
OTK Socks: Macy's $5.98
Heels: TJ Maxx $34.99
Belt: Charlotte Russe $5 for 3
Bracelet: Forever 21 Vegas $9.50

I was also very proud of my makeup, it looked straighter from far away!

The Details

Reactions:
I've done one post this whole month. I hope this shows the amount of school I have been working on! I am so thankful this semester is almost over, I will be officially done Dec 22! I still have five finals to go! I need to write 10 pages of a 20 page paper, a multiple choice test, I need to rewrite and give a ten minute speech, finish a journalism article and start a 400 word essay for final test and finally I need to do a group presentation. Whee It's going to be a crazy week! Luckily I have Christmas Eve off entirely!!!

This outfit is mostly plain but I really paid attention to the jewelry.  I'm obsessed with this ring, it influenced the whole outfit.  I also wore this stack of bangles and pearl earrings to match. I am wearing a silk top which I am wearing more like a tunic, black leggings and leather-like boots. Gold ballet flats probably would've looked better but 1) I don't own any and 2) it was freezing.

Something New #26

Reactions:
I have been dying to wear a hat, so yesterday I wore one of my new hats from Charlotte Russe. I am completely in love with this one! I like the way it frames your face! I have been extremely busy with school. This semester I have six classes, one is an event planning class and our event was right before Thanksgiving so I now have some more time! This time last year in November I had 20 posts, this year only 6! I am slowly starting my christmas shopping, but I haven't really been too impressed with the selection so far.  Hopefully it will improve! Did anybody go Black Friday Shopping? I'd be too tempted to go shopping for my self!
