$100 After Christmas Shopping Haul UPDATE

So I went a little over...but I did cross a few things off my little list of dreams...

I actually bought this book at American Eagle. They got a Urban Outfitters look-a-like make over, and now sell books and funky items.  This was 50% off so I thought it was a great deal.

I love these boots, they were a great price and they fit perfect!

These were not a huge investment, but I have been looking for a pair for a while so I am also excluding these from my budget.

Overall, I think setting the budget made me think more consciously about how much I was spending but I also justified some of my purchases because they were legitimate things I need, like the blow dryer and the jeans I can wear to work. I guess I didn't need the brown boots, but if I had found them in the fall I would've probably spent much more. So even though I went over I still think this was a good goal to set.
